Mrs. Susan G. (Bowman) Van Scoyoc, wife of John Van Scoyoc and one of t he oldest residents of Clearfield Co, died at home of daughter Mr s. W. F. Dale of Madera on 1 August, 1919. Born in Newton Hamilton, 18 J ul 1833. Surviving are six sons and three daughters. She was a sister of t he late Colonel John N. Bowman, founder of the Johnstown Tribune. The fune ral will be at Glasgow. Interment at Cambria Mills. (Altoona Mirror, 2 A ug 1919)
