Joseph D. Longstreth was a prominent farmer in Hocking County, Ohio whe re he raised sheep and cattle on his large farm north of Union Furanc e. He was known for his generous donations to build and support the Presb yterian Church at Union Furance, originally called the New Cadiz Churc h. His beautiful home and 350 acres of land became the property of the At hens Presbytery after the death of his son Robert.
