Robert and Blanche Longstreth were prominent in civic and church affai rs in their community. He was a director of the Farmers and Merchant's Ba nk which he help organize in Logan, Ohio. For many years he was preside nt of the Logan Home Telephone Company which he help organize, and he oper ated the family farm near Union Furance for more than seventy years. Th ey had no children.
