Miss Carol Van Scoyoc, a guest of Laurel Crest Nursing Home in Ebensburg a nd formerly of Van Ormer, died Feb 28, 1991 at the Altoona Hospital. Bo rn Feb 3, 1898 in Lovett, she was a daughter of George L. and Minnie M. (M cManamy) Van Scoyoc. She was the last of her generation, being preced ed in death by her parents, two brothers: Victor and Roger; and one siste r, Leslie Dale. She retired in 1944 as a school teacher from the Beaver Va lley and Vintondale Area Schools, having taught for 32 years. She was a gr aduate of Mountaindale High School, class of 1917 and attended Penn Sta te University, receiving her teaching certificate in 1922. Interment in Ca mbria Mills Cemetery, Glasgow.
