WELL KNOWN FARMER DEAD--Henry Boeschen, a wellknown farmer of near Concord ia died May 4, 1923, in the State Hospital in St. Joseph after having be en there only about two weeks. When his wife, relatives and friends we nt to see him last Thursday, it could be noticed that he was getting weake r. The body was brought home and the funeral was held Monday afternoo n. Rev. Brust conducted services at the home and preached to a large numb er of relatives and friends of the departed in the Lutheran St. Paul's Chu rch. The body was laid to rest in the Lutheran cemetery.
Henry Boeschen was born June 23, 1846, in Bergerdorf, Hanover, German y. He received his education in the Fatherland and came here as a young m an. Mr. Boeschen was twenty-five years old when he immigrated to the Unit ed States. He first went to Benton County, but stayed there only a sho rt while and then came to Lafayette County and settled near Concordia, whe re he since resided.
On March 20, 1874, he was married to Miss Mary Junge. He leaves his wi fe and six children, namely: Mrs. Henry Frerking of Linn, Kas.; Mrs. Adol ph Flandermeyer; Mrs. John Pregge; Mrs. Ernest Schroeder; Mrs. Wm. Schnack enberg, all of Concordia, and Ernest at home. Two sons and two daughte rs preceded their father in death.
Mr. Boeschen was a kind and loving husband and father and a member of t he Lutheran congregation at this place. He had been ailing for some time.

Henry married Marie Hannah Junge, daughter of John Henry Junge and Johanna Bammann, on 20 Mar 1874 ³⁵.^,36 (Marie Hannah Junge was born on 8 Jun 1855 in Hanover, Germany ^35,36 and died on 11 May 1943 in Concordia, MO ^35,36.)
