Mrs. Adolph Flandermeyer, nee Bertha Boeschen, wife of Adolph Flander meyer, died Monday morning, March 29, at 8:45, at their country home, aft er a serious illness of about seven weeks. She had a paralytic stro ke to which she finally succumbed. Her age at time of death was 64 yea rs and 7 days.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon in the St. Paul's Luthe ran church, Rev. O.E. Heilman officiating. Interment was in the Luther an cemetery.
Mrs. Adolph Flandermeyer was born March 22, 1879, in Lafayette Coun ty near Concordia and was the daughter of the late Henry Boeschen and wif e, Mary nee Junge. She lived at Concordia all her life. She was confirm ed by Rev. J. Blitz. On March 15 she was joined in holy wedlock with Adol ph Flandermeyer. They were blessed with five children, four of whom are l iving, Herbert, now in the U.S. service; Emil, Alvin and Erna, Mrs. Claren ce Dedeke, all of Concordia. She leaves her aged mother and six sisters a nd three brothers of whom two sisters and two brothers preceded her in dea th. Those living are Mrs. Henry Frerking, Linn KS; Mrs. John Pregge, Jr ., Mrs. Ernest Schroeder, Mrs. Wm. H. Schnakenberg and Ernest Boeschen.
Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Flandermeyer were married 40 years, March 15, 194 3. She was a life long member of the Lutheran church and was a memb er of the No.3 Ladies Aid.
