Emil J. Boeschen, 76, of Santa Maria, Calif., died on Dec. 23, 1993. Fune ral services were held on Tuesday in Santa Maria. Burial was in Santa Mar ia.
Mr. Boeschen was born on Aug. 5, 1917, near Concordia. He was the s on of Adloph and Emilie Flandermeyer Boeschen. He was a veteran of the U. S. Merchant Marine Corps. He worked for the Glidden Paint Company for ma ny years. He recently retired.
Mr. Boeschen is survived by his wife, Margaret Bishop Boeschen of the hom e; one son, John Boeschen of San Francisco, Calif.; two brothers, Walter B oeschen of Concordia and Adolph Boeschen of Kansas City; and three grandso ns.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence and Erwin.
