Amyrtaeus (6) 404-398 |
|
Presumably grandson of the Libyan Amyrtaeus of Sais who was the one of the commanders in the Inaros’ uprising against Persians. Amyrtaeus did not hold rule all over the entire Land. His death is recorded on Arameian papyrus of Brooklyn. His name is not mentioned on any of the relics, merely in so called Demotic Chronicle and Arameian papyri of Jewish community on Elephantine. It is supposed that overtaking the rule by Nepherites I was a violent action. |
