On January 24, 1919, Mrs. Eva (McMahon) Gwin, wife of Howard Gwin of Bland burg, died at age 24 of complications from a cold. She was a sister of Mr s. W. C. Van Scoyoc and Mrs. J. E. Ferner. (Altoona Mirror, January 27, 19 19.)

Eva married Howard J Gwin. (Howard J Gwin was born in 1890, died in 1966 and was buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Cambria County, PA.)
