Mrs. Ada Van Scoyoc died at the Altoona Hospital 2 Mar 1951 following a f ew days illness. She was born 25 Apr 1868 at Roseland (Glasgow, Pa), a dau ghter of George W. and Caroline (Troxell) Kuhn. Her husband, Charles, di ed 20 years ago. She was the last of immediate family. Surviving: a son, S amuel of Mountaindale; daughter, Edith Burns; grandson: Charles Burns. S he was a member of the Lutheran Church at Glasgow, and lived with her daug hter. Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow. (Altoona Mirror, 2 Mar 19 51]

Ada married Charles Van Scoyoc, son of David Van Scoyoc and Mary L Jackson. (Charles Van Scoyoc was born in 1871, died in 1931 and was buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Cambria County, PA.)
