Mrs Elizabeth Weaver Lehman Dies 31 Years After Her Helpmate

Windber, Aug 4, Mrs. Elizabeth Weaver Lehman, widow of David Lehman, w ho died yesterday afternoon at 3:30 oclock at the home of her son-in-law a nd daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank ORris, of 405 Graham avenue, survived h er husband by 31 years. David Lehman died at his home, between Inglesi de and Scalp Level, where he resided after his marriage, about 65 years ag o. Three years ago, Mrs. Lehman came to this community to make her home w ith her son-in-law. here she gradually failed until death.
Mrs. Lehman ws one of 13 children, born to Mr. and Mrs David Weaver of ne ar Davidsville. she was born October 30, 1824 and celebrated her 88th bi rthday anniversary last October. The children were Tobias, Daniel, Willia m, David, Levi, Abraham, Noah, Elizabeth, Hannah, Leah, Martha and one w ho died in infancy. Of these there is only one living, David Weaver, w ho resides in Indiana State.
Nine children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Lehman, Of these, the following su rvive their parents; Sarah, wife of Frank Orris of this place, Susan, wi fe of Peter Thomas, of Michigan; and Jacob Lehman of Michigan.
The funeral of Mrs Lehman will be held tomorrow morning. The body wi ll be taken from the house at 9 oclock to the Weaver Mennonite Church, wh re the Rev. S. G. Shetler will be in charge. Undertaker Meek will inter t he remains in the Richland Township Cemetery.

Elizabeth married David Lehman, son of John Lehman and Mary Livingstone. (David Lehman was born about 1820 in Lm3111 In Ginerich Book and died about 1882 ¹²⁰.)
