William J. Lehman
William J. Lehman, a former resident of this city; died Saturday nig ht at the home of his daughter. Mrs. Joseph LEwis, 929 Mellon Street, Pitt sburg, in his 64th year. The body was brought to this city this afterno on and services were held at the First Evangelical Church; Kernville, by t he Rev Sidney V. Carmany, the pastor, with burial in Grandview Cemetery.
William J. Lehman was born near Scallp Level, a son of the late Josp eh J. and Barbara (Seese) Lehman. He left Johnstown about two years aft er the flood of 1889 to make his home in Pittsburg.
William J. Lehman's wife, Mrs. Mary (Skyles) Lehman died in July 1918. Th ey wre wedded here on Sunday, June 5, 1881, by J. S. Strayer, J.P., Mr. Le hman is survived by the following children: Alice, wife of Jospeh Lewi s, 929 Mellon street, Pittsburg: Edward Lehman, Aspinwall, PA., and Laur a, Earl, Roy and Albert Lehman, all of Pittsburg. Ten grandchildren al so survive, Mr. Lehman was a brother of John B. Lehman, Ebensburg; S. B. Lehman, Rummel, Somerset County; Jospeh A. Lehman, R.D. 2, Clarksvill e, Mich., H. U. Lehman, 132 Weiss Street, Elmer J. Lehman, 511 Colem an avenue; Mr.s Albert Mader, Elton,; Charles Lehman, on the steamsh ip "President Garfield" now on a tour around the world; Mrs. Lizzie Linke r, 940 Ash street, and Mrs. J. L. Weaver, Hagevo, Somerset County. M r. Lehman was identified with Pride of Cambria Castle, Knights of the Gold en Eagle and Protected Home Circle No. 72, this city.
