Somerset County Woman Ill Three Years with Various Ailments
Mrs. Elizabeth Livingstone Lehman, wife of Levi J. Lehman of Conemaugh Tow nship, Somerset County, died at an early hour this morning aged 62 year s, three months and four days.
Mrs. Lehman was a daughter of Tobias and Elizabeth Livingstone, decease d, and was born in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County, on the farm now oc cupied by William Livingstone, April 11, 1853. She was married June 1 5, 1873, to Levi J. Lehman and moved to the frm where she died.
To MR. and Mrs. Lehman were born seven children, all of whom are livin g, as follows, Annie, wife of Joseph Bender, of Conemaugh Township; Jo hn J. of Conemaugh Township; Elizabeth of Johnstown; Hiram J. and Tobi as J., both of Thomas Mills; Katie, at home, Ellen, wife of Cloyd Spech er of Conemaugh Township. She is also survived by her husband and 17 gra ndchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Julian, wife of Jac ob Berkey, of Scalp Level; Katie, wife of Josiah M. Blough of Conemaugh To wnship; Sadie, wife of Joseph Blough, of Westmont; Samuel Livingston e, of Oklahoma; William Livingstone, of Conemaugh Township. Hiram and So phia Livingstone preceded her to the grave.
Mrs. Lehman was a faithfull member of the Thomas District of the Mennoni te Church since the fall of 1873.
Mrs. Lehman had not been well for about three years, having suffered fr om a complication of diseases, including dropsy, heart disears and paralys is.
Funderal services will be held at the Thomas Mennonite Church at 10 o'clo ck Saturday morning in chare of S. G. Shetler, Levi A. Blough and james Sa ylor. Interment in the adjoining cemetery will be in charge of Undertak er Evans of Johnstown. The pallbearers will be Joseph Croyle, Stephen Tho mas, Daniel Croyle, Samuel J. Thomas, Henry M. Eash and Daniel Thomas..... ...
Elizabeth married Levi J. Lehman, son of John J. Lehman and Susanna Replogle, on 15 Jun 1873 in Wiliam Livingston Farm. (Levi J. Lehman was born about 1860 136 and died on an unknown date.)
