DEATH CAUSED BY HEAT

Sixth Ward Resident Suddenly Expires While at Work in Cambria Boiler Room

Zachariah J. T. Lehman of No 784 Napoleon street, Sixth Ward, died of he at prostration at the boiler room of one of the Cambria Steel Company's mi lls on Saturday evening. Mr. Lehman, who was in his sixty-second year, w as a water tender at the boiler house and left his home between 5 and 6 o' clock for the mills. After drawing the fires preparatory to shutting do wn for sunday, he ws overcome by heat and was found a short time lat er by a fellow employee named Wissinger. The remains were turned ov er to Undrtaker Pendry, who conveyed them to the Lehman residence. The f uneral will take place at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, when services wi ll be conducted by the Rev. G. C. McDowell pastor of the Willow stre et U. E. Church, Interment will be made in Grand View Cemetery.

The deceased was born in Shade Township, Somerset County, in 1848, bei ng a son of John and Susan Lehman, who removed to JOhnstown in 1864. Zacha riah Lehman, was employed for a while at Wood, Morrell & Company's store b efore going to work in the Cambria Mills.

In 1874, Mr. Lehman and Miss Katherine Blough were united in marriage he re by the Rev. Mr. Wakefield, a Mehtodist minister. Mr.s Lehman surviv es her husband, with two daughters and a son-- Elsie, wife of Herman B. Wi lliams, of Lorain; Miss gertrude, at home, and Harry of No 749 Robb aven ue. Mr. Lehman was a brother of Mrs. Levi J. Ripple, of Franklin stree t; Mr.s William Foust, of Napolean street, Mr.s LEwis Custer, of Holspp le; Miss Elizabeth Lehman of Landstreet; Lefi Lehman, of Los Angele s, Cal., and Frank Lehman of Somerset County.

Zachariah married Catherine Kate Blough, daughter of John Blough and Rachel Berkey, about 1874. (Catherine Kate Blough was born about 1851 in Somerset Co., PA and died on 1 Mar 1928 in Johnstown, PA ⁶.)
