I was outside of my Work on Sunday afternoon, working on my NetBook when I heard a strange bird call. I went inside to get my camera & bird lens but by then whatever bird was calling had left. A little disappointed I decided to shoot a few photos of the Sparrows & Finches around the Bird Feeder when my little friendly Scrub Jay showed up & wanted Peanuts. Usually he will come & get about 6 peanuts out of my hands and hide them around the yard & then fly off. His mate has never fed out of my hand but will fly to the fence & turn it's back on me as a way of saying, "This bird doesn't do the hand feeding thing!" so I'll toss it a peanut & it will swoop down & take it. Well after about 9 peanuts each, I didn't see them anymore so I figured they flew off as usual so I went back to work on  my NetBook. About 3 minutes later, much to my shock, the friendly Scrub Jay perched on the upright screen on my NetBook. I tried to get a photo but all I had was my long bird lens so no luck. I gave it a peanut & went in to switch out my lens for a shot one in hopes of catching it on my NetBook again but no luck, it landed everywhere but on my NetBook. Oh well, maybe another day.
