Hiking Photos

The Weather was completely overcast & I knew my Camera's ISOs would be high (ISO 3200) but I just had to hike Eaton Canon again. The shots are a but grainy but I can live with them.

I got off the main trial to get away from the crowds & heard a Quail in the brush. I stopped & waited for a few minutes & saw some movement. After a bit of studying & listening I spotted this California Quail in the darkness. I waited for about ten minutes for him to come out but he never moved. I couldn't figure out why because I never moved a muscle & then I noticed that deep in the darkness was his eye looking at me. I bet he was thinking the same thing I was ...."Why doesn't it move?" I decided to stop freaking him out & went on only to spot this one on a branch
