I originally was going to just set up a 12 foot by 12 foot square garden but then Harbor Freight had a great deal on their 6 foot by 9 foot Greenhouse. Since I live in Michigan where the weather changes every 3 minutes and we can get frost in late May (In fact this year we did), I thought Either I get a greenhouse or I buy expensive starter plants every year. The Harbor Freight deal won out so the garden plan grew into the English Garden design you see below.
The plan consists of
3) 2 foot by 8 foot beds (16 square feet each)
2) 1 foot by 8 foot beds (8 square feet each)
1) 2 foot by 4 foot bed (8 square feet)
1) Trapezoidal shape that is is about 3.5 square feet.
1) Trapezoidal shape that is is about 14.5 square feet.
1) Hexagon 3 tiered Strawberry bed.
The garden sets in the South-East corner of the yard which allows for full sun (when Michigan has sun) all day.
