It may be true that a rose by any other name would smell as sweet. But
not so concerning Bible names, which often give keen insight into the
lives of those who bear the titles. This is especially true concerning
Christ. A wealth of information concerning his person and work can be
obtained from studying the names and titles ascribed to him. Note some of
